Horse Powered Reading®
Horse Powered Reading® integrates social-emotional learning with academics, allowing students to see and experience reading with their entire mind, body and emotions by creating metaphors for the skills involved in reading. Students interact with horses from the ground, while using toys and props to identify obstacles and learn five critical reading skills - phonemic awareness, decoding, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.
Book Clubs
Book clubs provide a way for readers to engage in critical thinking and reflection as they read, discuss, and respond to books.
Life Skills
Does your child struggle with stress, social anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, attention issues, being bullied, school refusal, and more? Are you looking for a program which will help your child develop life skills in a supportive environment? This program focuses on working with horses to help develop resilience, strong communication skills, confidence, leadership and emotional regulation capabilities.
Field Trips
Field trips are fun, educational visits that welcome groups from all over WNY! Field trips include
activities, hands-on with the horses, snack, drink and a take home craft for all participants. Groups can come to our facility or we can bring the horses to you! Field trips at our facility are a great way to go on an adventure and try something unique.
Pen Pals
The Pen Pal program allows participants to get to know more about horses and start a long term relationship with their new friend. Pen pals can choose to write or draw a picture and their pen Pal will write back. This fun program can help foster good writing and communication skills, promote a connection outside of the classroom, hospital room, doctor’s office or group home and build a forever bond with a horse.

We offer a limited amount of beginner horseback riding lessons each year. Private lessons only. $60 dollars per private 30 minute lesson.
