One Red Thread Equine Connection, Inc. is a 501c3 organization committed to cultivating learning and nurturing the human spirit with equine healing and educational opportunities for all in a safe, inclusive, accepting space. Our goal is to inspire hope, foster independence, promote positive character building and improve the mental, physical and emotional well-being for children and adults of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. One Red Thread Equine Connection is a ground-based program that focuses on connecting with horses through activities that help develop academic, social, emotional and life skills. There is no riding involved. Time spent on the ground with a horse is translated into a meaningful partnership and learning opportunity. We provide endless possibilities to connect with horses and people by hosting Horse Powered Reading® literacy programs, book clubs, life skills activities, field trips, horse visits, workshops, clinics, themed events and more. One Red Thread Equine Connection is completely reliant on the support of local businesses, organizations and private individuals that desire to make a difference in our community.  By partnering with us, we can make our programming accessible to youth and adults from all walks of life, ensuring that anyone can benefit from our services and is able to attend regardless of social/economic standing, background or ability.
